This lady is a hero. A champion of pain. A conqueror of inner demons. Why? Who else would be able to sit still long enough to have such extravagantly lengthy cornrows braided into her hair? And why else would she be able to have celtic designs zapped and needled all over herself? I admit, were she real, she'd beat me in the valor department.
Me, I'll stick to my messy mop of a hair nest.

The shading and patternation of the dress and lace is beautiful. As for champions of pain, perhaps you are more of one than you think, as drawing all those plaits must have been a real pain too XD
